1. Ø12

🍴 Customer notes 🍴

4/5 – TripAdvisor
4.2/5 – Google

Ø12 is one of the Copenhagen brunches most popular with locals. The reason? It’s open 365 days a year. Best of all, there’s no need to book. It’s the perfect place for the most spontaneous of you to grab a quick breakfast.

Ø12 is located in the very heart of the Østerbro district. A pretty café that will satisfy all your tastes. The dishes on offer are fairly classic, but prepared with love and, above all, very good produce.

The interior space is really comfortable. Worthy of what you’d expect from Nordic countries. Very hygge, then. In summer, when the sun is shining, you can also enjoy breakfast on the terrace.

2. Mad & Kaffe

🍴 Customer notes 🍴

4.5/5 – TripAdvisor
4.5/5 – Google

Mad & Kaffee could claim to be Copenhagen’s best-known brunch. Actually, that may be true. Indeed, it’s one of the Danish capital’s most popular breakfast spots.

But beware. This well-deserved success means you’ll have to be patient to enjoy the delights on offer. Located in Vesterbro, this café sees many people disembark, as early as 10am. Since reservations are not possible, try to arrive early.

But why is this brunch from Copenhagen so popular? It’s probably for its “brunch à la carte” concept. So, you’ll be invited to opt for several courses (3, 5 or 7), for a price that won’t change. There are plenty of options to choose from:

    • Sausage cheese ;

    • Croque-monsieur ;

    • Chorizo ;

    • Avocado with chilli ;

    • Scrambled eggs with smoked salmon.

Pastries, meats, soups or even vegetable, cheese or other plates, you’ll be treated to the very best at Denmark (be warned, though, this means the menu changes quite frequently).

Last but not least, if you’re on the premises, don’t forget to try the squeezed orange juice (which is a must). One of our favorite Copenhagen brunches.
