Swan Lake, an iconic ballet in Prague
The best of Swan Lake is not the performance in its entirety, but a selection of some of the ballet’s greatest passages, the ones that forged its worldwide reputation.
The ballet is an adaptation of a German legend first performed in 1895. It is said to have been created by the famous choreographers Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov, with music by the illustrious Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky.
