U Betty
Hotel U Betty in Ostrava is an excellent option for travelers looking for an affordable overnight stay. In general, you should expect to pay between €20 and €25 per night. Rooms are fairly clean and well-maintained. Beds are very comfortable. The hotel is located right in the city center, which is ideal for travelers: everything is within walking distance! The hotel is located at Dr. Šmerala 1710/1.
Imperial Hotel
Ostrava’s Imperial Hotel is one of the city’s most popular and chic hotels. It’s just a stone’s throw from the famous Stodolni Street. There are two restaurants on site, as well as a sauna and a saltwater swimming pool. These relaxation and wellness facilities are available free of charge to hotel guests.
The breakfast is very good. The rooms are soundproofed. All have their own bathroom and TV. There’s also a gym and a beauty salon. In short, there’s everything you need for a relaxing evening. A night’s stay costs around 50 euros.
Hotel Maria
Located in Přívozská 23, 702 00, Hotel Maria has nothing to envy the city’s other establishments. Quite the contrary, in fact. The rooms are very spacious and all have their own bathroom. Reception is open 24 hours a day to answer any questions you may have.
In the morning, after a good night’s sleep, you can enjoy breakfast. There’s also a restaurant where guests can enjoy typical Czech and international dishes. You can expect to pay around €40 per night.
Ruby Blue
At Stodolní 11, you’ll find Ruby Blue. This is an excellent hotel in Ostrava, located just a few meters from the main street. The rooms are exceptional: with connected TV, Netflix, minibar and free Wi-Fi, they meet every comfort requirement.
Breakfast is served in a large bar serving a hot and cold buffet. Perfectly located, the hotel is just a few hundred meters from all the amenities you need to make the most of your stay.
Hotel Club Trio
Located on Pobialova 846/10, this hotel is close to the famous Stodolní Street. It’s the ideal place to stay if you like to go out. Your room is just a few hundred meters from bars and nightclubs (don’t worry, it’s very quiet).
The hotel’s restaurant is very popular, as are the rooms, each with its own minibar and TV. You’ll also find a lounge area within your reservation. As for the rest, the hotel is well located. It’s just a few minutes from the city center (around 5). Ideal for getting around.
Hostel Moravia
We found only one youth hostel in Ostrava. It’s Hostel Moravia. Rooms start at around 15 euros. The hostel is only 400 meters from the main railway station. If you’re coming by car, you’ll find a public parking lot! This is a small establishment with 26 rooms and 55 beds. All have en-suite bathrooms. Wi-Fi is free!

Finding a hotel in Ostrava isn’t at all complicated. Quite the opposite, in fact. However, we do recommend that you make arrangements well in advance of your stay, to avoid any unpleasant surprises.
Don’t hesitate to book your night in a hotel or youth hostel several days or even weeks before you leave. The journey, whether by train or car, can be quite long. So choose a place where you’ll feel comfortable and where you can relax.
