The Karlovy Lázně is a really unusual nightclub, close to the center (perfect for getting back to your hotel) and its must-sees like the astronomical clock or the castle. The latter is housed in an old building dating back to the 14th – 15th century.
Since 1999, clubbers from all over Prague have been flocking here to enjoy its 5 floors of very different emotions. The concept is indeed very appealing, making this establishment one of the most popular clubs in the Czech capital.
Here’s what the 5 floors of this club are like:
- On the 1st floor, the atmosphere is rather classic.
- On the 2nd floor is the dance floor, where you can amaze everyone present with your steps in an old (empty) swimming pool.
- For fans of disco and SNF (Saturday Night Fever), the 3rd floor is the place to be.
- The 4th floor is more R&B and soul.
- And on the 5th floor, you can chill out in a more sedate corner. In short, Karlovy Lázně has something for everyone.

It’s all about the ‘wow’ factor. 5 floors is a lot. 5 atmospheres is huge. It’s definitely worth the experience!
How much does it cost to enter Karlovy Lázně?
Generally speaking, entry to Prague clubs is fairly straightforward and not excessively expensive. However, Karlovy Lázně is one of the best-known clubs in the Czech Republic and one of the biggest in the world.
As a result, the price of admission is very high. To get there, you’ll need to pay 250 Czech crowns (around €9-10) on weekdays and 300 crowns (around €11-12) on weekdays. Tickets can be bought on site or online.

Karlovy Lázně: what's the atmosphere like at the club?
Within Karlovy Lázně itself, the atmosphere is rather pleasant. However, like everywhere else, it is a nightclub. We advise you to be careful with your belongings and to do everything possible to avoid losing your ticket if you drop them in the cloakroom.
The alcohol is also flowing freely, so it’s advisable not to talk back if you get hassled. However, this kind of situation is relatively rare, and you should have no trouble at all having an excellent evening in Prague’s biggest club.
