Zlín and its region (Zlínský kraj) are not far from Prague. It takes almost 3 hours to drive there. So a round trip in a day is not really advisable.

That’s why we’ve decided to compile a list of some of the most pleasant hotels in Zlín. Quality establishments in good locations, so you can make the most of your few days here.

1. Interhotel Moskva

This 131-room hotel is of the highest quality. Particularly well located, Interhotel Moskva is just a few minutes’ walk from the city center (Námestí Práce 2512, Zlin). The rooms are bright, and the staff are often praised for their friendliness. Are you travelling by car? Park in the uncovered parking lot, which costs 60 czk a day.

Wifi is free throughout the establishment. In the morning, don’t hesitate to subscribe to the buffet breakfast option. In the evening, however, head for the hotel’s bar/lounge and restaurant to indulge yourself. Room rates start at around 85 euros.

2. Hotel Baltaci Atrium

At around 110 euros a room, the Baltaci Atrium is one of Zlin’s most popular hotels. With 28 rooms, a restaurant and sauna, it’s one of the most popular establishments.

The quality of the rooms is outstanding, with television, private bathroom and sometimes even a terrace. The hotel is located in the very heart of the town at Lešetín II/651. Pets are welcome. So if you’re traveling with your dog, this is the ideal place to stay.

3. Hotel Baltaci U Náhonu

Located in U Náhonu 3946, Baltaci U Náhonu has 33 rooms. You’ll find rooms with their own bathroom and free toiletries. There’s a small garden to the rear, where you can take a stroll.

This Zlin hotel also features a bar and lounge, as well as a sauna. There are no restaurants, however. Rooms start at around 50 euros.

4. Hotel Saloon

Hotel Saloon is located at Tyršovo nábřeží 487. The establishment offers numerous rooms, with free Wi-Fi. The on-site restaurant is very good, serving Czech and Italian cuisine.

The rooms are of a very high standard. The beds are comfortable, the windows let in plenty of light and all rooms have their own bathroom. Breakfast is served in the morning.

Finally, the Saloon Hotel offers a fitness center, massages and a sauna, all of which are available at an additional cost.

5. Hotel Lázně Kostelec

Hotel Lázně Kostelec is just 5 km from the center of Zlin. Like many hotels in the region, it has its own spa. Sports enthusiasts will also be pleased with the sports facilities and restaurant area.

Wi-Fi is available. The rooms are very pleasant and comfortable. Geographically, the hotel is only a few kilometers from important sights such as Lešná Zoo. Free parking is also available on site.

6. Koliba u Cerneho Medveda

The entrance to Koliba u Cerneho Medveda is at U Zimniho Stadionu 4092. It lies at the foot of the Tlustá Hora. It’s actually a small 19th-century chalet, with a restaurant and an improbable panoramic view.

The rooms are cosy, with wooden floors. The bathrooms are en suite, and all have all the amenities you need to enjoy a moment of relaxation. Wi-Fi is free of charge. Rooms start at around 80 euros.

What to do in Zlín ?

Zlín is an interesting, but fairly small town. It will only take you a few hours to visit it, probably all day if you take your time and explore every nook and cranny.
